Oregon State School of Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing EngineeringWhat is Humanitarian Engineering?
It’s a Game Changer: Come to Our Info Night and Find Out Why

The Humanitarian Engineering Program at Oregon State seeks to cultivate science and engineering-based solutions that provide access to basic human needs, enhance quality of life, and advance the level of community resilience in the local and global community. We offer both undergraduate and graduate opportunities at OSU, including: an undergraduate humanitarian engineering minor; graduate fellowships, dedicated coursework in humanitarian engineering, science and technology (HEST); Capstone Design projects, research opportunities and more.

At the event, you can meet several of our affiliated faculty, including those teaching SP16 and SU16 courses:

  • Engineering for Global Health Solutions
  • Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Case Studies in HEST
  • Household Energy in Guatemala (field course)

This is a great chance to learn about requirements for the minor and ask questions about the program. Refreshments will be provided.
